Center for Information Technology, Nepal

Introduction:
To make available the fruit of developments and experiences in information and communication technology to the people of rural and remote areas of the nation, this NGO named Center for Information Technology – Nepal (CIT-Nepal) have been established as a non-profit organization. CIT aims to work in close collaboration with GOs, NGOs and INGOs. CIT-Nepal also aims to create jobs by the use of ICT.

Survey Works:

Conducted Poverty and Social Assessment Household Survey for Rural and Urban areas of Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Sunsari, Dang, Myagdi, Achham, Solukhumbu and Ilam Districts under Asian Development Bank TA-4833:NEP Project. The survey was conducted by implying Sample Selection Methodology with Required Sample Size to achieve 95% level of confidence with a confidence interval of 10%.
